15 hours transit in Dubai

Hola! 


I want to share a story while transiting in Dubai for 15 hours. Our main destination is Türkiye but transit in Dubai first. If you haven't bought a SIM card or roaming while in Dubai, don't worry because when you go through immigration you will get a Free Tourist SIM.




Where to sleep?

We just slept at the airport. There are chairs for sleeping in the transit area, you can use them to wait for morning and the metro operates. Or you can rest for a while in the prayer room.


 



What transportation used?

You can use Metro or Bus or Taxi. Actually, we used Metro and Taxi. FYI, Metro already open at 05.00 or 05.30.




What to eat?

There's lots of food at the airport, you can go around to see it, either in the transition area or after leaving immigration. At that time I bought a subway. While traveling around Dubai, I stopped by the mall to eat there.



Where to go?

Here we go to the list :

  • Museum of The Future
From Dubai International Airport, you can use the Metro from Terminal 1. The route is Airport Terminal 1 - Emirates Towers Metro. Then just walk a little to get to the Museum of the Future. Museum of The Future opens at 10.00 am. We didn't go in, just took photos from outside.




  • Burj Khalifa
To get to the Burj Khalifa you can use the Metro or Taxi. We took a Taxi because it seemed far away ahahaha. If you use the Metro, the route is Emirates Tower Metro - Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, then just walk following the maps. When taking a taxi, we use the Careem application. With the pick up point in front of the Emirates Tower Metro and get off at the Palace Hotel. How much does it cost? Honestly, I forgot.


  • Burj Al Arab
Because the heat was very unfriendly, we decided to take a taxi again on our way to the Burj Al Arab. The heat of 38 degrees feels like 41 degrees huaaaaaaa, taxi is the best choice. The route is from the Palace Hotel to Umm Suqeim Park. How much does it cost? Honestly forgot hahaha.


  • Mall of The Emirates
We continued by taxi to Mall of The Emirates for lunch.



Are there any other recommended places besides the 4 places above? 
  • The View at The Palm : What is going on over there? You can see 360 ​​degrees of Dubai city and see Palm Jumeirah or the homes of Dubai's rich people.
  • Palm Jumeirah : A closer look at Dubai residents' housing.
  • Al Seef Dubai : I think if you come here the goal is going to Starbucks, because the vibe is so different here. Like the setting where Aladdin was filmed.
  • Sky Views Dubai : If you go to the sky view, you have to try the glass slide! That's the tall glass slide.
